He’s passionate about giving people the clarity and confidence to make informed financial decisions through a disciplined planning process.
BACKGROUND & CREDENTIALS
Before entering wealth management, Blake spent more than a decade in broadcast journalism at KNDU‑TV and KHQ‑TV, experiences that honed his ability to translate complex topics into plain‑English guidance clients can act on. He joined Baird in 2023. Blake earned a Communications/Broadcast Journalism degree from Washington State University and holds the CFP® designation, as well as Series 7, Series 66, and Life & Health Insurance licenses.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Away from work, Blake and his wife Katie are happily busy keeping up with their two boys, Brooks (6) and Bennett (4), along with their golden retriever, Cooper. Depending on the season, you’ll find the family golfing, fly‑fishing, skiing, hiking, camping, hunting for huckleberries, or cheering on Cougar football in Pullman.
RECOGNITIONS
During his time at KHQ‑TV in Spokane, Blake was part of the team awarded a Regional Emmy® for coverage of the Carlton Complex Fire in 2014.
